The core of Aident AI is the Home input, where you describe an AI workflow automation the way you'd explain it to a colleague over coffee, with as much or as little detail as the job needs. Aiden drafts a Playbook with a Goal, a set of Integrations, and a Plan, all editable on a single canvas. You stay in control. The wording and steps stay yours, so the result matches how your team actually works rather than a rigid template.

Playbooks run three ways: on demand, on a schedule, or when something happens in another app, so the same workflow can respond to a button, a clock, or an event in a tool like your inbox or your spreadsheet. That means a digest can fire every morning at 8am, while a task-creation flow can wait for a new spreadsheet row. The flexibility removes the need to babysit a workflow, since the trigger decides when work starts. You set it once. Then you forget it. That's the goal.

Aident connects a broad catalog of apps that spans communication, productivity, development, data, sales, and marketing, which is wide enough that most teams find the tools they already pay for sitting inside it. You authorize each one in the browser and manage the set from the Connections and Capabilities tabs. Because the agent discovers the integrations for you and proposes the ones it thinks the plan needs, most teams never have to map a single API call by hand, which saves the trial and error that usually comes with wiring up a new automation stack from scratch.

Loadout gives coding agents and chat apps governed access to the same app catalog. It works with Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, and Claude, exposing the same discovery and execution flow through a CLI or an MCP server. One connected loadout can be reused across supported clients and devices. Set it up once.

Loadout keeps credentials out of the agent's hands, so a coding agent can act on your behalf without ever holding the password or token that unlocks your account. OAuth grants and API keys live in Aident Vault, stored centrally and managed by admins, and can be revoked at any time. Every action gets an audit receipt showing what ran, how many credits it used, and whether it succeeded.

For many built-in services, such as search, crawling, data, and media, you don't need your own provider accounts or subscriptions. Aident manages those directly, which cuts down on the credentials and bills you'd otherwise track. You can still bring your own accounts where you prefer to stay on your existing plans.
