Fable Fiesta is a web-based AI writing tool aimed squarely at D&D 5e prep. Instead of building every region, NPC, and beast by hand, you describe what you need and the generators fill in the details, from expansive regions and quest lines down to individual races, classes, and monsters. It sits alongside the DM's own notes rather than replacing them, so the output works as a first draft you shape into your world.

The main problem it solves is time. Prepping a session often means hours of writing before anyone rolls a die. A lot of that work is scaffolding you could sketch in minutes anyway. Fable Fiesta turns that scaffolding into a draft you can edit. That matters most for DMs running weekly games or juggling more than one campaign.

The biggest limitation is that it doesn't run your game. There's no virtual tabletop, no dice roller, and no live combat tracking. Think of it as a writing tool for D&D 5e. If you need automated encounters or a digital battlemap, that sits outside its scope. Everything it makes is a starting point. You still decide what fits your table.

Getting Started

1. Head to the Fable Fiesta site and sign up for the free account (no credit card required).
2. Pick a generator that matches your task, such as the campaign builder, race and class generator, or monster generator.
3. Enter a short prompt describing the region, character, or creature you want, and let the tool produce a draft.
4. Edit the output to fit your setting, then export or copy the homebrew character sheet and campaign material into your prep notes.
5. Run the session and keep the pieces you like for the next arc.
