Skillboss is AgentSky's agent marketplace and runtime. The idea is simple: instead of locking into one coding agent, you pick any agent stack you like, swap it mid-task, and keep the same session going. The platform runs each session on a persistent cloud computer, so the agent keeps its state and workspace between turns.
The main problem it solves is fragmentation. Most teams now juggle Claude Code here, Codex there, some other tool for tests, and none of it talks to each other. Skillboss puts them behind one interface, so swapping a provider or chaining agents is a config change rather than a rewrite.
The biggest limitation is cost predictability. Skillboss charges for cloud compute by the second while an agent is awake, plus add-ons like browser tools and connectors, even when your subscription covers the model tokens. Idle agents suspend automatically, so a parked project costs nothing, but a busy one adds up. So budget carefully. You need a clear picture of your monthly usage before you commit.
Getting Started
- Sign up at agentsky.dev and top up a prepaid credit balance. There are no seats and no minimums.
- Optionally connect your Claude Pro/Max or ChatGPT Plus/Pro subscription under Settings, Bring Your Own Subscription, so eligible model tokens cost $0.
- Create an agent spec and pick an agent type like Claude Code, Codex or Hermes along with a compatible model.
- Add the tools, connectors and chat channels the agent needs, then start a session from the returned session ID.
- Send a message through the web UI or the API and stream the reply back through the SSE event stream.

Skillboss supports Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, OpenClaw, pi, DeepSeek's coding agent, Kimi Code and opencode, with more being added. You choose the agent type when you create a spec and keep the same session, message and event APIs across all of them. Swapping providers doesn't reset your history. That's the whole point.
Bring your own subscription
If you already pay Anthropic or OpenAI, you can connect that plan and run eligible agents on it. Claude Code agents on Claude models and Codex agents on GPT models bill $0 for model usage. You still pay AgentSky for compute time, tools and connectors, and the credential stays on the machine where Claude Code or Codex is signed in.
One stateful API for every agent
The Agent API gives you a single contract for sessions, messages and events. Each session is a persistent cloud computer with state, workspace and recovery included on the same call. You can create a spec, start a session, send a turn and stream the reply without adapting your integration to each agent.
Add-ons you install in one click
Tools, connectors and channels work the same in the browser and through the API. You can give an agent web search, a browser, image, video and speech generation, or attach apps like GitHub, Gmail and Notion. Chat channels cover Slack, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp and iMessage.

Build your own agent product
You can ship a product on top of the Agent API under your own name. Pick an agent type, add your prompt and tools, then point your coding agent at the docs and it wires up the integration. AgentSky says 450,000+ agents have been launched on the API so far.
