Answerbit is a brand visibility platform for the AI search era, built by Tencent and aimed at marketing and growth teams. It tracks how often AI models like Doubao, Yuanbao, DeepSeek, Kimi, and Qwen mention your brand in their answers, measures your average ranking against competitors, and traces which websites those models cite. On top of that data it adds a content optimization engine, so you can draft AI-friendly articles, publish them, and watch whether your visibility score moves. Teams that care about what ChatGPT-style answers say about them, rather than which blue links rank first, are the ones it's built for.

About Answerbit

What Is Answerbit

Answerbit is a monitoring and optimization platform for generative engine optimization, or GEO. The idea is simple. When someone asks an AI model to recommend a CRM or a project management tool, the model answers in one paragraph and moves on. If your brand isn't in that paragraph, you're invisible. You don't exist in the decision. Traditional SEO tools can't see inside those answers, so Answerbit collects them directly and turns them into numbers you can track daily.

The platform covers the five big Chinese AI models at launch, with a stated plan to keep expanding. It mirrors what real users see rather than calling a clean API, since the polished answer on a user's screen can differ from raw interface output. That choice matters for accuracy. It also means collection runs on a fixed daily schedule, not in real time.

The biggest limitation is access. Answerbit is Tencent's own product and has rolled out in waves. Smaller teams may wait for an account and for support capacity. Pricing isn't published either. We'll get into that below.

Getting Started

  1. Request access through the official site, then sign in with your phone number once you have an account.
  2. Create a workspace and add your brand, your competitors, and the category-defining prompts you want tracked.
  3. Let Answerbit collect answers from Doubao, Yuanbao, DeepSeek, Kimi, and Qwen, and review your Visibility Score and average rank.
  4. Open the citation analysis to see which domains and articles the models rely on, then compare your numbers against competitors.
  5. Move to the Optimization Center, generate content based on high-citation references, publish it, and keep tracking whether your metrics shift.

Key features

Daily multi-model tracking

Answerbit queries Doubao, Yuanbao, DeepSeek, Kimi, and Qwen in parallel every day and stores each response as structured data. You get a Visibility Score from 0 to 100 and an average rank, both plotted over time, plus the same figures for your competitors. Collection runs daily. Changes after a content push show up without you triggering a scan.

Answer-level and citation analytics

The analysis side lets you read how each model describes your brand, answer by answer, instead of lumping everything into one score. It also traces the domains and specific articles the models cite, so you can see whether your homepage, a news piece, or a competitor's blog shapes the narrative. Trends can be grouped by topic. That helps when one product line is doing fine and another isn't.

GEO content optimization

Once you know which sources the models trust, the Optimization Center suggests high-citation reference articles and generates optimized drafts based on them. You publish through your own channels and then keep tracking metric changes, so the loop stays measurable. The platform recommends where to publish, but it doesn't distribute content for you, which is worth knowing if you expected an all-in-one posting tool.

Visibility Score benchmarked against rivals

Instead of a raw mention count, the platform leans on a single visibility score and average rank, both shown next to competitors. That framing answers the question marketing teams actually ask: compared with the other names in my category, how often does the AI bring me up, and how high? Watching your score slide while a rival's climbs tells a clearer story. A standalone tally doesn't.

Multi-team and multi-brand collaboration

Workspaces hold multiple brands and competitor sets. Permission and quota controls govern who can edit what. Agencies can keep client data separate, and larger marketing departments can hand analysts read access without exposing everything. The quota layer also matters because usage runs on credits, so you can cap how much each team burns.

Criminal-mirror monitoring of the answer page

Rather than hitting a clean API, Answerbit simulates a real person asking questions and captures what appears on screen. That's a deliberate choice. API output and the answer a user finally reads can diverge, and what you want to manage is the version the public sees. That's the black box your customers actually experience. Harder to build, better to measure.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Covers the five leading Chinese AI models in one dashboard, so you don't juggle separate checks
  • Daily automatic collection keeps visibility data current without manual sweeps
  • Citation analysis points you toward the specific pages that shape how models talk about you
  • Multi-brand workspaces and quota controls fit agencies and larger marketing teams
  • The score-and-rank framing makes competitor comparison concrete

Cons

  • No published pricing and a credit system that resets monthly, so unused credits go to waste
  • Access has rolled out in batches, which means small teams may wait for an account and for support
  • The platform recommends publishing channels but doesn't distribute content, so you still need a separate posting workflow
  • Coverage centers on Chinese AI models, limiting value for brands targeting Western audiences
