Blotato AI Content Engine

Blotato's core is a unified publishing layer. Your agent calls create_post once, and the product handles each network's requirements natively rather than through browser automation. That covers X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, and Pinterest. The MCP server at mcp.blotato.com/mcp exposes 36 tools, and the REST API sits at backend.blotato.com/v2 behind one blotato-api-key header. No per-platform SDKs, no OAuth app approvals.

This is where the social media scheduler earns its keep. Posting happens now, at a timestamp, or through a calendar the API fills for you. Recurring weekly slots are tracked per platform and per account, so the agent can ask for the next free slot and drop content into it. The schedule endpoints are GET, PATCH, and DELETE, which makes editing a queue about as simple as reading it.

The agent can list comments and conversations, read any thread, and reply or send a DM without a human touching the app. Messages support buttons and quick replies, which matters when you want a reply to lead somewhere. Support here is limited to Instagram and Facebook. That's a real constraint. Those messaging APIs are the only ones open enough to build on reliably, so it's a limitation of the platforms, not an oversight.

Eight dm-automations endpoints build the classic comment-to-DM funnel programmatically. Someone comments a keyword, they get a DM with a button. Triggers work per post or account-wide, on comments or direct messages, and each one reports its own triggered, completed, and failed counts. The design is reply-only inside Meta's 7-day comment and 24-hour DM windows. Cold outreach doesn't exist here, on purpose.

GET /analytics ranks published posts by views, reach, likes, or comments. For a single post, GET /posts/:id/analytics returns its metrics over time, including full snapshot history. Every metric field is optional, so a network that doesn't report a figure returns none rather than a fake zero. LinkedIn is the one exclusion, since it doesn't return metrics yet.

Beyond publishing, the product generates images, videos, and voice from within the same plan. Starter includes 1,250 AI credits a month, Creator 5,000, and Agency 28,000. Credits cover AI image and video generation plus voice; writing is unlimited on every tier. Higher plans also get faster or dedicated video processing.

Official n8n and Make nodes let you wire Blotato into existing workflows without writing glue code. A self-hosted automation can watch a database, draft a post, and push it through Blotato as the publishing step. This is aimed at operators scaling to a real audience, where the tooling is a pipeline rather than a daily app.
